Print Finishing Operator - Guillotines. My client based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire are looking for a Finishing Operator mostly working on guillotines . You must have previous experience working within a print finishing department utilising folders, binders and guillotines. Role involves shift work of 6am 1.30pm, 1.30pm 9pm, Monday. Key Accountabilities:
Reduction of machine down time for make-readies and breakdowns
Reduction of running times, while still ensuring quality, as measured against quoted targets
Reduction of waste in respect of reprints as monitored by Reprint Analysis
To understand every job and follow lists to ensure all work completed
To finish every job within allocated time scales and to a high quality, ensuring quality file copies separated and labelled on every job
To box and label every job and prepare it for dispatch
To implement maintenance tasks to plan
To be responsible for general cleanliness of the finishing department as a part of the daily routine
To liaise with the Finishing Supervisor to ensure work is completed as required.
This role is commutable from Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley. Please send in your CV ASAP for more information.
