We are hiring an experienced Export Officer for our global, market leading client. To be considered for this position you must have a strong background working in export or logistics customer service.

Main responsibilities:

  • Providing a high level of service for our Export customers.
  • Processing of Export orders via SAP ensuring correct stock allocation, raising or applying for country specific certificates, whilst assuring full attention to detail is applied.
  • Shipping of orders through Freight Agents, deciding the most appropriate modes of shipment, and considering time and temperature sensitive goods, dealing with letter of credits and compiling export reports analysis where required.
  • Providing professional and timely communication to our International Customers, providing details of their orders, shipments and providing responses to any enquiries that may arise.
  • Liaising with internal support departments such as Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Warehousing etc, and external agencies including several Government Sectors, Freight Forwarders and Banks etc.

To be considered for this role:

  • Experience and the understanding of working with different cultures, previous experience of working in International Trade or working within a Customer Service environment would be beneficial.
  • You will be an excellent communicator both laterally within the organisation and externally and have the ability to work using initiative whilst working as apart of a team.
  • Experience of SAP and excel would be a strong advantage.

Our client offers a competitive base salary alongside:

Hours - 8.30am until 4.30pm Monday to Friday

Hybrid - 3 days at the office / 2 days at home

Holidays - 25 days plus 8 days bank holiday

Pension - 7% Employer / 7% Employee contribution
