We have a new opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to joinour vans business, based in Stockton.

The Purchase LedgerAssistant will assist with the day-to-day functions of the PurchaseLedger department.

Here is a flavour of what you’ll be doingday to day:

  • · Input purchase ledger invoices, creditnotes, debit notes etc onto the computer system
  • · Processingof invoices.- Scanning invoices, delivery notes and other documents tobe uploaded onto our financial system.- Filing documents in a neat,disciplined manner.
  • · Prepare and process payment runs as andwhen required
  • · Make approvals for payments on authorisedinvoices, credit notes, debit notes etc
  • · Set up new accountsand amend existing accounts on the Purchase ledger
  • · GeneralAdministration duties to include filing and sending emails
  • ·Any other duties as required by the Purchase Ledger Team and theAccounts Team

To be successful in this role:

  • · Be a confident communicator and have experience indeveloping good relationships with a range of staff and customers.
  • · Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work and haveexcellent organisational skills
  • · Have good IT skills, withan understanding of Microsoft packages.
  • · Previous experienceof working in a purchase ledger role
