Acorn by Synergie are searching for a Site Installation Engineer to join our client, a large industrial door company covering the UK. Based from the site in Port Talbot, the purpose of the role is to visit customer sites as part of a small team, install, service and maintain various types of doors. All doors can be either mechanical or electrically operated. Duties will include:

  • Ensure the project is completed within the allocate time and to the high standards required.
  • Provide an innovative and technically aware approach to problem solving.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety requirements.
  • Ensure that all HSE and company paperwork is completed and returned to the office after the project has been completed.
  • Ensure appropriate audits and checks are carried out on equipment in line with relevant standards.
This is a National role, successful candidates will be working away from home for a large percentage of the time, which could include the odd weekend. Must have previous experience working in a similar role, working as part of an installation / service team on site. It is essential that the successful candidate has a full, manual, UK Driving licence. A CSCS card is also required. Hours of work are generally, Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm and Friday 6am-2pm.
