Therefore, our client is seeking an experienced Underwriter to join the team and push the business forward. The Underwriter's job is to decide if someone can get a loan and say yes or no to their request. You'll talk to customers one-on-one and build relationships with them. You'll work with other departments to help customers through the loan process and make sure the Our Client meets its goals. Responsibilities/Duties

  • Perform risk assessments on potential loan recipients based on credit rating, borrowing history, and other specific risk factors.
  • Understand the rules and regulations that govern lending.
  • Work seamlessly with other team members to ensure a smooth, speedy application process for potential customers.
  • Review and verify supporting documentation.
  • Conduct thorough and accurate research.
  • Respond to all customer enquiries/applications.
  • Performing administrative tasks as assigned by the Line Manager
