Structural Engineer +4 Years experience This role is the perfect blend between working at the desk and stepping out of the office to visit sites regularly. Partake in technical designs while diversifying your ability to write reports, manage clients and work on a variety of residential and commercial developments. About the company Located in Hammersmith, London, our firm consists of a diverse and skilled team of structural engineers, architects, and designers. We specialise in overseeing all stages of our clients' projects, from initial design to project completion. Throughout the process the customer is kept updated and managed, often requiring site visits and structural surveys with reports to follow up. Responsibilities

  • Attending Structural Site Inspections to either give verbal advice or produce the following reports
  • General Structural Inspection Report
  • Specific Structural Inspection Report
  • Advise the team of Architects any structural issues regarding projects
  • Produce Structural Drawings and Calculations for projects (these can range from small extensions to larger new build flats).
  • Production of structural drawings and coordination with the in house team
Essential Software Packages - must be able to use at least 4 of the below
  • Tekla Tedds
  • AutoCAD
  • Prosteel – Superbeam
  • Tekla Structures
* STACIA * Revit also desired. About you
  • Dynamic and proactive with excellent time management
  • Able to complete individual projects while working in a team environment to meet overall targets
  • Able to communicate effectively and reassure clients - client management skills.
  • Excellent technical report writing ability
  • Expereienced in conducting surveys
  • Management of multiple projects at different stages
  • Registered with the ICE or IStructE
