An established and growing manufacturing company who precision machined parts and solutions to various industries are on the look out for a CNC Miller with programming experience who are looking for a career move. If youre looking for a role and company where you will be given some degree of flexibility on hours (start/finish times), autonomy and responsibility, this is the job for you Hard work is always praised, recognized and appreciated. It is a small company so you'll be working within a small team and be responsible for taking a drawing and run the machines of 3, 4 & 5 axis across a mix of mainly Heidenhain Controls etc.

This role is rather unique as they produce many different parts and batches, each time machines needs to be set up from drawings so you could be changing it daily/weekly, constantly making things interesting and getting involved with a lot of programming.

If you have any programming experience, even if it's not on Heidenhain, please apply now as they can offer support in making the move over and getting up to speed.

Responsibilities

Program, set and operate CNC mills using Heidenhain Controls, programming through MASTERCAM software
Ability to program from customer drawings and models
Produce components from start to finish working with a wide range of materials.
Working in a high precision environment to a range of tolerances
Working within a small turning team & liaising with other colleagues to meet deadlines
Responsibility for managing your own tooling requirements

Requirements

Experience in a Precision / Machining environment is essential
Competent in use of CNC Mills / CNC Milling
Experience with Heidenhain Controls is desirable
Experience with Mastercam software is desirable
Working to engineering drawings and models
Ability to work to tight tolerances
Able to work and meet deadlines
Good attention to detail and quality
