Project Maintenance Manager
Our client is in the food industry, so they work at speed as their preparation lead times are short. The Project Maintenance Manager will get involved in the strategic running of the sites facilities and maintenance and will be involved in the logistics and machinery maintenance.
They have been extremely agile and are now reaping the rewards as their growth is continuing through increased volumes and a wider customer base. As part of a larger group there is a wealth of knowledge and support and that brings future opportunities for career progression.
So, the Project Maintenance Manager is responsible for:
The annual facilities and maintenance plan
Developing a cap ex programme and the management of all projects
Control of the spares and maintenance contracts
Management of the facilities and maintenance teams.
In terms of the machinery element, there aren't multiple production lines involved in this role, it's more focussed around prepping and warehousing equipment.
Similar FM experience or a background in engineering or maintenance. You may be in operations and been involved in managing facilities as an add on to your role.
Down to earth in approach, willing to be out in the warehouse and with the teams to aid with problem resolution and driving improvements.
