Job Description

Contract Head of Data - Outside IR35 - Hybrid - London

SR2 is thrilled to collaborate with a cutting-edge fintech startup in search of a Head of Data for an engaging 6-month contract.

This pivotal role presents an opportunity to spearhead and mold data strategy and management initiatives throughout the organization. Your impact will be gauged by the advancement of our data architecture, elevation of reporting capabilities, and the strategic utilization of management information (MI) to bolster internal governance and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Mastery: Establish yourself as an internal authority on data accessibility, governance, and future potentials. Data Architecture Enhancement: Fortify our IT infrastructure by devising a resilient long-term data architecture, potentially incorporating data warehousing solutions. Integration and Reporting: Oversee integration issues, lead resolution efforts, and conceptualize additional internal data analysis and reporting features. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with stakeholders and autonomously manage your workload.

Expected Skills & Attributes:

Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in driving data architecture enhancement endeavors, and adeptness with Python, SQL, and Power BI. Project Management: Execute IT and data transformation initiatives within predefined timelines and budgets. Stakeholder Collaboration: Effectively interact with senior stakeholders throughout project lifecycles. Team Player: Contribute to the expansion of our Transformation team.
