We're seeking a proactive and detail-driven Estimator to join our high-performing Bid Team within our Riney business. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals, contribute to strategic bids, and help deliver projects that matter.
The Estimator supports the Bid Team in preparing accurate and competitive tenders for civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Working under the guidance of the Senior Estimator, the role involves analysing tender documentation, preparing cost estimates, and engaging with the supply chain. The Estimator contributes to the successful delivery of bids and tenders by ensuring timely and detailed estimating work.
Analyse tender documents and prepare cost estimates under supervision
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations
Maintain estimating databases and tools
Support the Senior Estimator in bid strategy and compliance
Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent
Minimum 2 years in estimating or quantity surveying within civil engineering or construction
Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., Awareness of standard forms of contract – NEC, JCT
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
