Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons to primary/secondary school students.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students with varying proficiency levels.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through regular formative and summative assessments.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate their progress to parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans that align with educational standards.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with current educational practices.

Requirements

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification in French and Spanish.
  • Proven experience teaching French and Spanish in a primary/secondary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the French and Spanish language, culture, and literature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to create differentiated lesson plans to meet the individual needs of diverse learners.
  • Demonstrated understanding of current educational practices and the ability to incorporate technology in the classroom.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity in the teaching profession.
