Commodities Application Support Engineer

Referment is working with a prestigious hedge fund who have a world renowned commodities trading desk that generates impressive revenue on a global scale. They have recently started the search for a Commodities Application Support Engineer to work directly with their Commodities Portfolio Managers, Quants and Analysts in London, providing technical support for their Endur platform and wider trading systems.

The successful applicant must have at least 5 years of experience working in Application Support within a Commodities trading environment to be considered for this role. Expertise supporting the latest versions of Endur, combined with strong technical and troubleshooting skills are also essential for this position.

This is a chance to work for one of the worlds best hedge funds on a growing commodities desk that is generating impressive returns. You will get to work with the latest technologies and directly with the front office, meaning the successful applicant will have a lot of autonomy and opportunity to be rewarded both financially and in terms of career progression.

Key Requirements

  • 5 + years experience working in Application Support, with a focus on supporting CTRM/ETRM systems
  • In depth knowledge of Endur (ideally v16 or newer)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience supporting Windows, Linux and Cloud platforms
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to speak directly with Traders, Portfolio Managers and Risk Managers regarding technology platforms and issues
