Maths Academic Mentor | Hounslow | September 2024

Have you recently graduated from a top UK University? Are you an aspiring Maths Teacher looking for a year's experience as a Maths Academic Mentor?

Ribbons & Reeves are looking for an exceptional Maths Graduate to support students in an Ofsted graded 'Outstanding' Secondary School and Sixth Form in Hounslow as a Maths Academic Mentor.

Maths Academic Mentor | The Role:

*£25,495 FTE per annum | 1 year contract from September 2024

*Opportunities to be enrolled onto the school's Teacher Training programme from Sept 2025

*Leading small group sessions with A-Level / GCSE students, as well as supporting students in class

*Mentorship from experienced teachers, and access to tailored training sessions

Maths Academic Mentor | What You Need:

*A First-Class Maths Degree (at least a 2:1) from a top UK University

*Previous child-centred experience

*Commitment to a full academic year with aspirations to become a Maths Teacher

*Confidence in delivering Maths sessions to students with a range of academic abilities

This Maths Academic Mentor role is perfect for a Maths Graduate looking to develop their knowledge and skill set in supporting learners to excel. The school provide excellent Teacher Training to those who thrive in their Academic Mentor role - this role offers stability, the opportunity to progress, and the chance to make a real difference to the lives of students.
