Escape Recruitment are working with an exciting, specialised manufacturing client, who are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their growing design team.

The role:

  1. Support mechanical requirements for the design, development, integration and commissioning of product range.
  2. Create technical specifications, design specifications and test procedures for mechanical systems.
  3. Mentor junior members of the team, review designs and check drawings.
  4. Generate Bills of Material and specifications.
  5. Identify and analyse technical problems, determining appropriate solutions and follow-ups.
  6. Liaise technically with key suppliers for component selection and production support.

About you:

  • Extensive mechanical experience working within a similar role and environment.
  • Experience in Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar 3D modelling packages is essential.
  • Experience of supervising and mentoring others within the team.
  • Ability to interpret customer requirements and utilize decision-making abilities.
  • Perform engineering calculations and undertake appropriate analysis.
