Job Title: Business Central Pre-Sales Consultant
Location: Staffordshire
Salary: £50k - £60k
Role Overview:
As the Business Central (BC) Pre-Sales Consultant, you will be the primary representative of our client to potential clients, responsible for understanding customer needs and creating tailored sales proposals. You will deliver software demonstrations for Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and relevant third-party add-ons, ensuring they align with client requirements and deliver value. This role involves working towards defined targets, managing a dynamic workload, and maintaining customer satisfaction by actively engaging with prospective clients, scheduling meetings, and attending client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for new sales prospects and customers, ensuring a professional and customer-centric approach.
- Utilise your expertise in Business Central to understand client needs, create tailored solutions, and develop relevant proposals.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to meet strict deadlines for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations to Tender (ITTs), addressing all functional requirements.
- Support customers, prospects, and the New Business Sales Team by presenting the products and building strong business cases and ROI proposals.
- Deliver accurate and comprehensive Proof of Concepts to clients within designated timeframes.
- Assist in creating informative, engaging, and customized product demonstrations.
- Provide technical qualification for Business Central sales opportunities.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Develop strong technical relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Work to specific targets to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, aligned with Company goals.
- Manage shifting priorities and demands effectively through excellent time management.
- Travel to client and prospect sites across the UK as needed to maintain strong customer communication.
- Provide reliable and accurate input during weekly sales meetings with the sales team and management.
- Attend the head office and support out-of-hours work, including late nights and weekends, as required by project needs.
- Lead comprehensive Sales-to-Ops handover meetings for all won Business Central opportunities.
- Stay current on all new releases of Business Central, including technology updates and licensing models.

Person Specification:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solution-oriented with a strong customer focus.
- High commercial awareness of competitive ERP and business financial systems.
- Excellent teamwork and motivational abilities.
- Skilled at influencing people, processes, and system strategies.
- Results-driven with strong time management skills.
- Desirable qualifications include ACCA, AAT, ACA, or a Bachelor’s degree in Business or IT.
- Experience in public sector or not-for-profit sales is advantageous.
- Proven success in sales within a target-driven environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Dynamics NAV/Business Central and associated Microsoft technologies like the Power Suite.
