Cordius are currently looking for a Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Engineer to join our client's friendly, professional team at their Liverpool depot

Our client is a leading provider of access solutions for the construction industry, with over 6,000 machines available for rental and accredited training.

As part of this PDI Engineer position, full training will be offered, and a salary increase provided as training progresses.


As a PDI Engineer, you will be responsible for completing pre-delivery inspections as required and performing other engineering tasks as necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Performing PDIs, servicing, repairs, and manufacturer upgrades, as well as maintaining the corporate image of our rental equipment fleet.
  • Using a corporate-issued PDA to accurately record all essential checks, while adhering to company procedure at all times.
  • Effectively communicating with the engineering team and hire office to ensure optimum machine availability at the depot.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Keen to learn and develop new skills
  • A passion for mechanical/electrical machinery and engineering (full training will be provided on our equipment)
  • Able to work independently as well in a team
  • 25 days holidays per year + statutory holidays
  • Inclusion in a profit share scheme
