Due to growth, we are looking for a Senior Associate or salaried partner to join our well-regarded team, working on a range of commercial disputes work.
Our Commercial Litigation team are consistently ranked highly in the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners, our team have considerable experience in resolving disputes across a wide range of industries and sectors.
Role: Senior Associate/Partner
Hours: Full-time
Term: Permanent
You’ll be joining a national law firm that enjoys a strong reputation, made possible by our exceptional people – each chosen for their industry knowledge and passion for their field. Most of our people choose to work in a hybrid fashion, working from home and attending our offices on occasion. The team handle claims including contract disputes, director and shareholder disputes, breach of covenant and warranty claims, professional negligence, banking, defamation, fraud, procurement, and partnership for a wide variety of commercial and corporate clients from the UK and overseas.
You will have independent conduct of files and will be responsible for the supervision of more junior colleagues.
The range and quality of our caseload makes it an exceptional base to develop you career in litigation.
In particular the successful candidate will have an existing portfolio of commercial clients and contacts and will be prepared to take an integral role in developing our commercial team.
It is an integral part of this role that you comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.
You should be proactive and flexible in working both individually and as part of a team and be able to prioritise a number of different projects effectively. You may have spent some time undertaking professional negligence work, if not, you will have general commercial litigation experience.
Communication will be one of your strong points, both written and oral, and you will be enthusiastic about delivering excellent quality service to your clients. We are looking for someone with very good academic achievement wishing to develop their career as a litigator and who also displays initiative, pragmatism, common sense and excellent client skills, who is looking to build a career and develop a reputation within this very strong, friendly and supportive team.
