Based in our head office in Chandlers Ford, with occasional travel to other group sites, you will carry out service and maintenance activities, to provide a safe environment for staff and customers.
undertake general maintenance tasks needed to help ensure site standards which will include (but not limited to) plumbing, first fix electrical works/testing and inspection, fabric maintenance, carpentry & joinery works;
• supervise Facilities Operatives and contractors to ensure maintenance is complete;
• maintain effective business relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors and suppliers;
• manage maintenance inventory & ensure adequate stock levels of parts and equipment;
Your understanding of how commercial buildings are constructed, along with hands-on knowledge of working a trades role previously will allow you to hit the ground running in the department.
The role involves travel to various Utilita offices; therefore, you will have a full, clean driving licence and be willing to travel.
You will have excellent attention to detail, great communication skills and be proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
