We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for our clients in the mechanical and industrial engineering industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for inputting a high volume of data from various sources into our database systems. This will involve gathering information from documents, spreadsheets, and other sources, and entering it accurately and efficiently. You will also be responsible for managing and updating existing data, as well as performing regular data quality checks to ensure the integrity of our database.

The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent attention to detail and strong data entry skills. They will possess a high level of accuracy and be able to work quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines. Strong computer skills and proficiency in using database software are essential for success in this role. Additionally, candidates with previous experience working in the mechanical or industrial engineering industry will be given preference.

Responsibilities
  • Input a high volume of data accurately and efficiently into our database systems
  • Gather information from various sources, including documents and spreadsheets
  • Manage and update existing data in the database
  • Perform regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Maintain a high level of productivity while meeting deadlines
  • Follow established guidelines and procedures to ensure data confidentiality and security
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize data entry processes and efficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent data entry and typing skills
  • Proficiency in using database software, such as Microsoft Access or SQL
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience working in a similar data entry role preferred
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
