First Water Ramsbury Ltd, part of the world-leading Gentell group, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Technical and Scientific Services (TSS) team. In this maternity cover position (available immediately) , you'll be responsible for providing high-quality data to support the development and validation of new wound care products. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including balances, pH meters, and water activity meters.
Perform routine and non-routine laboratory tests with precision and accuracy.
Calibrate all testing equipment.
Prepare clear and concise scientific reports.
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Degree-level qualification in a scientific discipline (or equivalent experience).
Experience working in a GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) environment.
Ability to work independently, developing and executing laboratory procedures.
Strong data analysis and report writing skills.
Knowledge of Medical Devices and FDA/ISO Quality Systems.
Proficiency in Minitab software.
