Laboratory Technician - Competitive Salary DOE + Benefits - Ramsbury (1 year Maternity cover - potential to become permanent)
Do you have the relevant degree-level qualification in a scientific discipline? Are you experienced in maintaining laboratory equipment and conducting scientific investigations? First Water Ramsbury Ltd, part of the world-leading Gentell group, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Technical and Scientific Services (TSS) team. In this maternity cover position (available immediately) , you'll be responsible for providing high-quality data to support the development and validation of new wound care products. There is potential for this role to become permanent.

Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including balances, pH meters, and water activity meters.
Perform routine and non-routine laboratory tests with precision and accuracy.
Calibrate all testing equipment.
Prepare clear and concise scientific reports.
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Degree-level qualification in a scientific discipline (or equivalent experience).
Experience working in a GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) environment.
Ability to work independently, developing and executing laboratory procedures.
Strong data analysis and report writing skills.
Knowledge of Medical Devices and FDA/ISO Quality Systems.
Proficiency in Minitab software.
