About the Head of IT & Systems role :

As our Head of IT and Systems, you will be the leader of the IT and Systems department, reporting to the Group Finance Director.

You will be responsible for defining and implementing the IT and Systems road map to align with the company's business objectives.


This is an equally hands-on role technically as it is strategic so is ideal for an experienced IT leader who is passionate about rolling their sleeves up.

Key responsibilities of our Head of IT & Systems will include :

  • Developing and implementing IT strategy including our global sites (Europe, China, Brazil, America)
  • Driving efficiency of business systems and infrastructure including ERP (Syspro), PLM (Team Centre), JIRA, CRM, as well as in house bespoke systems for configuring and testing our finished products
  • Motivating and developing a multidisciplined DevOps team comprising infrastructure, software and business analysis functions
  • Ensuring cyber security is robust, embedded and work towards Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation
  • Leading endtoend delivery of digital projects to deliver digital transformation
  • Influence IT change across the business with stakeholders, directors
Skills & Experience need to be successful as our Head of IT & Systems :

  • Expert knowledge in strategic planning, implementation, and management of critical projects
  • Excellent communication skills confident engaging with stakeholders at different levels
  • Strong people management and development
  • Proactively assessing and monitoring IT strategy
