About the role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with specialisation in supporting students with challenging behaviours. Application Requirements: • Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with challenging behaviours• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents/carers• A patient and empathetic approach, with a genuine passion for supporting the diverse needs of every child• An understanding of relevant strategies and techniques for managing challenging behaviours in an educational setting• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential) Key Responsibilities: • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, focusing on developing key skills and promoting positive behaviour• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to the individual needs of students• Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions, in line with the school's policies and procedures Join our vibrant school community in Brent, London, offering easy access to central London via nearby tube stations.
