We are looking for a talented and experienced Architectural & CAD Design Manager to join our team. As the Architectural & CAD Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the architectural design process and managing the CAD team. This role requires a strong background in architecture, expertise in CAD software, and exceptional leadership skills.
Architectural & CAD Design Manager
We are looking for a talented and experienced Architectural & CAD Design Manager to join our team. As the Architectural & CAD Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the architectural design process and managing the CAD team. This role requires a strong background in architecture, expertise in CAD software, and exceptional leadership skills.
Lead and manage the architectural design process, ensuring high-quality and innovative designs that meet client requirements and industry standards.
Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals, budgets, and timelines.
Utilise CAD software and other design tools to create accurate and detailed architectural drawings, renderings, and models.
Review and evaluate architectural designs to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and specifications.
Provide guidance and mentorship to the CAD team, ensuring their professional development and growth.
Coordinate with contractors and construction teams during the construction phase to ensure that design intent is maintained.
Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the design process.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in architecture and CAD design.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field Master's degree is a plus.
Must possess excellent 3D CAD modelling skills – using Autodesk Inventor.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on CAD software.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit,.
Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects.
A portfolio showcasing your previous architectural designs and CAD work.
Monday - Friday
