Sales Forecast and Supply Planning Manager

As Demand and Supply Planning Manager, the purpose is to create a CoE team of dedicated experts, based outside our Country Unit (CU). This will enable UK Demand Planners to be experts in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and APO.
Lead the Demand Planning team, responsible for team wellbeing, engagement, and personal performance. The role internally collaborates cross functionally with the leadership team, sales, marketing, shopper & customer, finance, logistics etc. Ensure demand planning processes are deployed and followed as designed and provide the demand forecast delivered to the supply units with confidence and accuracy. Deliver on KPIs - maintain the high forecast accuracy and ensure delivery of excellent service levels, inventory, and write-down/scrapping.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting, identify and drive improvement initiatives to optimize performance.
Further develop and optimize the Management Unit (MU) S&OP process to ensure alignment and integration across the broader organization.
Collaborate closely with CoE team to ensure optimal stock distribution levels and co-develop agile processes that enable quick reaction to unforeseen market dynamics whilst ensuring product availability and minimizing critical stock and leftovers.
This role forms part of the Supply Chain UK leadership team and overall cross functional MU leadership team.
Setting clear team and individual goals, monitoring progress, providing support and guidance on an ongoing basis.
Identify training needs, ensuring team members have necessary skills and resources, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Encourage creativity and risk-taking.
2-5 years' work experience in a similar function
~ Deep knowledge of Demand Planning (Incl. fundamentals for data analytics and reporting)
~ Knowledge for Supply Planning is needed during transition phase
~ Good general skills in MS Office Suite
~ Knowledge of SAP & APO is considered a merit
