About M Group Services Plant and Fleet and your team
With 8 depots across the UK, M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions provide innovative plant and fleet asset management solutions across M Group Services. We provide our business with more than9,000vehicles and over25,000owned or externally hired plant assets.
Our team has grown rapidly and we are responsible for the supply and management of specialist equipment and vehicles, supplying the Water, Energy, Transport, Data and Telecommunication sectors.
As a Hire Controller you will part of the National Rental Team that transacts all Rental enquiries relating to Plant, Fleet, Accommodation, Site Services and Tool requirements.

Processing of all rental requirements through the Plant & Fleet Rental mailbox and transacting accordingly using management software (InspHire, Jaama Key2, Oracle).
Liaising with the workshops to maximise utilisation of M Group Assets from all locations before placing orders with external Suppliers.
Manage the external rental process, ensuring suppliers deliver/collect Plant or Fleet within the agreed time frames and our databases are accurately updated.
Actively review external hire reports and exchange external Plant or Fleet for available internal assets.
Continuously review and reconcile live hire reports, ensuring all management software is accurate at all times.
Proven IT Skills with experience of Microsoft Office.
Relevant experience within either the Plant or Fleet Industry in a similar role is desirable.
