Friendly teamA brand new primary special needs (SEN) school based Barking and Dagenham is seeking a Special Needs Teacher for an ASD/SLD Class - opportunity in either Early Years of Key Stage 2.
Special Needs Teacher - Barking and Dagenham - Details:
Teaching a mixed class, pupils with Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties
Pupils working at P levels
Curriculum based loosely on the Early Years curriculum with a particular focus on developing social and communication skills.
Work alongside two really friendly and capable learning support assistants (LSAs)
Make use of School facilities including Sensory Rooms and extensive outside areas
Special Needs Teacher - Barking and Dagenham - The successful applicant:
The successful Special Needs Teacher will need to be;
Flexible, with the ability to use their own initiative where required
Experienced working in an SEN school or with ASD and SLD children
UK QTS or an overseas teaching qualificationIdeally the successful applicant will have a proven track record working in an SEN environment but the Headteacher will consider a primary trained teacher with a passion for SEN, a proven track record as a teacher and a can do attitude.
