As the Senior Fire & Security Project Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation and management of fire and security systems projects.
You will also provide technical expertise to junior engineers and technicians. Upskilling and providing spot inspection checks and guidance.
Based near High Wycombe, salary £45,000 per annum.
Duties and Requirements:
* Maintaining fire alarm & security systems
* Attend customer callouts as required
* Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers
* Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment
* Promote continuous improvement and professional development within the team
* Identify training needs of team members
* Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and company policy
* Maintain up to date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies
* Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
* Serve as primary point of contact for clients, contractors and other stakeholders
* Conduct project meetings and presentations as required
* Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction
* Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
* Scheduling appointments and management of own service route
Skills Required:
* A minimum of 5 years’ fire alarm and/or fire industry experience required
* 17th Edition Electrical qualification is preferential but not essential
* Maintenance on addressable and conventional fire alarm systems
* Small works/installations on fire alarm systems in line with quotations
* Organised with accurate attention to detail
* Good communicator with clients; considering positive representation of the company
* Positive attitude and a good team player
* Flexible and able to adapt according to the needs of the day
* Good time management skills
* Full, clean driving licence required
* Willingness to travel as required by project demands
