We are looking for a Leakage Programme and Assurance Analyst within Operations London (Water). As a Leakage Programmes and Assurance Analyst, you will provide management information, detailed analysis, and commentary to enable the Compliance Assurance Manager to make informed decisions.

Work Location: Hybrid role. Your base location can be any of these locations: Deephams, South London or Reading

Working Hours: 36 hours per week.

This is a dynamic role within a small professional team, where you will support the Compliance Assurance Lead with the accountability of the 'register of compliance' measures about leakage 'Enablers' and 'Contributors' by developing the register into a sustainable product, sourcing and maintaining performance related data and document reviews; such as Processes and RACI's while supporting with various auditing & reporting, as instructed by the Compliance Assurance Manager.

What you will be doing as a Leakage Programmes and Assurance Analyst
  • Be accountable for 'register of compliance' measures about leakage 'Enablers' and 'Contributors'. Working alongside the Assurance Engineer to integrate planned assurance activities throughout the lifecycle of programmes/projects/BAU activities. Updating the register and support prioritisation to align with the leakage strategy and turnaround plan.
  • Maintaining governance documents, while supporting with development and coordination of new and improving existing governance with key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Provide detailed analysis of processes, RACI and Leakage programme performance in collaboration with team members, while researching to find data and manipulate it as necessary into useful information to support the needs of the compliance and assurance manager, with supporting strategic decisions.
  • Collect timely and accurate data to report on Assurance activities, planned or otherwise regularly to decision-making boards/working groups. Support the Assurance Engineer with collating and circulating papers, agenda setting, taking minutes and actions and liaison with the chair(s).
  • Identify improvements to ways of working to achieve more efficient outcomes across the TW business areas. Support the documenting and recording of recommendations; track where efficiencies will be delivered, to what capacity and any risks identified in the transition of the final implementation. Ensure changes to SLAs and KPIs are cascaded to key business areas and documentation is updated.
  • Establish and continuously promote proactive health, safety & environment culture across the team and our service providers.
What should you bring to the role?
  • An understanding of the regulatory landscape, industry knowledge, and the ability to assess risks, solve problems, interpret data, and communicate effectively.
  • Be a strong collaborator building trust within teams and across siloes. Collaborate with colleagues to tackle key outcomes, not specific problems and enable others to collaborate and raise performance.
  • Be able to demonstrate objective, logical and structured analysis of problems; balance the use of data and intuition to make decisions quickly.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills for written and presentation purposes
  • Good working knowledge of water balance, leakage management and control is preferred however not essential.
  • Due to the nature of the role a full UK driving licence is required.
