Our client, a leading manufacturer of mobile and static plant equipment, is seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their innovative design team. With a global presence in over thirty countries through an expanding international dealer network, they are a trusted partner for a diverse range of customers from multinational construction groups to small concrete producers.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality, reliable equipment for the concrete, construction, and environmental industries. Designing Detailed Mechanical Drawings and 3D Models: You'll create precise and innovative designs for mixing plants, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. Building BOM and Components Lists: You'll compile comprehensive bills of materials (BOMs) and component lists for the equipment. FEA Analysis: You'll perform finite element analysis (FEA) on structural steel buildings used in mixing plants. Technical Documentation: You'll maintain up-to-date manuals and technical data sheets in alignment with the drawings.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills: Education: A secondary education degree (BEng or similar) in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering. Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in mechanical design. Proficiency in 3D CAD Systems: Ideally, you'll be proficient in 3D CAD systems, with a preference for experience with Creo.
