Senior Hydrogeologist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic & experienced Hydrogeologist to join my client, based in Shrewsbury. The successful Hydrogeologist will have prior commercial experience - ideally with experience working within a consultancy, and will have a sound knowledge of SEPA, LLFA, EA & NRW requirements.

As the successful candidate within this role, you will be required to undergo ad-hoc UK travel - though this will be compensated. As such, the successful candidate will be required to have a full-clean driving licence.

To be successful within this position, the Hydrogeologist will have the following skills:

  • A relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree, along with proven commercial experience within a similar Hydrogeology role - ideally with commercial experience within a consultancy environment
  • A sound grasp of SEPA, LLFA, EA & NRW requirements with prior experience of analytical methods of quantifying groundwater flow
  • Any further experience using GIS Software, as well as experience of groundwater modelling packages would be highly advantageous
