Purpose of the Role You will be accountable for the successful delivery of HCM & Payroll system implementations on behalf of our clients, for one or more of the following systems:
• Sage People
• Sage Payroll
• Sage Intacct
• Sage Inventory Planner
• iTrent
• PeopleXD

It is essential that applicants have experience of implementing one of the above systems, within the context of a system implementation partner organisation or HR Consultancy. Further to this, applicants must have experience of delivering Time & Material service contracts.

Phase 3 is a marketing leading provider of system implementation service and HR transformational services. The project manager is at the forefront of delivering excellent customer service, contributing the further growth and advancement of Phase 3.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities 1. Lead client meetings to explore consultancy requirements and discuss scope for project governance and review – including independent preparation
2. Take responsibility with colleagues, clients and partners to develop project initiation documents and project plans – assigning work packages to self and team
3. Apply knowledge and training to deliver consultancy requirements on time with excellent follow up for a portfolio of clients
4. Working well with conflicting priorities and deadlines and the ability to prioritise workloads whilst not exceeding deadlines
5. Use reporting tools to create, edit and schedule analytics suites for clients
6. Manage both internal quality assurance testing and advising on user acceptance testing with responsibility for the testing plans
7. Act as the lead contact for Phase 3 with clients and partners
8. Devise appropriate governance processes, change control, risk management and communication strategies
9. Develop and provide high quality documents
10. Offer a proactive accountability for the highest calibre of professionalism, service and accuracy for team and project work when assigned
11. Financial responsibility for the profit and loss of implementation projects
12. To work closely with consultants to ensure customer satisfaction at all stages of an implementation, including regular feedback on issues and opportunities
13. Create regular project updates and update customer success cards
14. Maintain project planning tools and systems
15. Ensure timesheets and allocated hours are correctly reported to ensure invoicing reflective of work delivered

Essential Requirements • Confident ownership of project life-cycles and methods, evidentially proven
• Contextual awareness, particularly of HR and Payroll or Finance in more than one sector
• Understanding of project life-cycle and methods
• Communicative fluency, both verbal and in documentation
• Strong analytical thinking and open-ness to learning
• Excitement about flexibility, independence, initiative and knowledge-sharing in your job
• As a Project Manager, you will have demonstrable experience in leading and managing diverse and complex IT Software projects
• A strong ability to lead discussions and gain agreement on the method of implementing the solution for the customer by setting their expectations at the correct level
• Have a high level understanding of the functionality of the company products as required
• Strong organisation skills (time management, administration etc.)
• Project Management Accreditation
