Estimator Sheffield £50k - £60k About the company: I'm currently working with a office design and build fit-out contractor based in Sheffield. After a successful Q1 - this business is growingrapidly and is in a very strong position heading into Q2/3. My client is seeking an Estimator with ideally office design and build experience. About the role: The role involves conducting thorough site surveys and analysing project specifications, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of project requirements. The individual will identify and manage potential risks throughout the project lifecycle, mitigating issues before they impact progress. They will develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and subcontractors, ensuring all aspects are accounted for accurately. Negotiation with subcontractors is a key responsibility, aiming to secure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. The role includes preparing tenders, material take-offs, and final project costs, ensuring all documentation is precise and complete. Collaboration is essential, requiring effective coordination with internal teams, such as project delivery and procurement, as well as external stakeholders, including clients and contractors.
