Wilderness Way is looking for a bold, creative, and values-led communicator to lead our brand and communications strategy — someone who can connect hearts and minds, inside and out.
This hybrid/field-based role works across our homes, which are based throughout Cumbria and the North East, and sits within our People Team, reporting directly to the People Director. As Head of Brand & Communications, you'll lead powerful internal communications that build trust, pride, and belonging, while also raising our external profile as a leading provider of care through the outdoors.
From celebrating the everyday impact of our colleagues to crafting campaigns that reflect our unique blend of care, nature, and resilience — this is a role for someone who can communicate with authenticity, creativity, and heart.
Lead internal communications that reach and resonate with frontline teams.
Develop our digital presence — from website to social media — with engaging, story-led content.
Manage PR, media, and brand partnerships.
Proven experience in communications, marketing, or PR.
A natural storyteller with strong writing skills and emotional intelligence.
Confident with digital tools, analytics, and multi-channel content.
