Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are working on an exciting opportunity for an IT Engineer with the aspirations of progressing into Cyber Security to join a dynamic and fast-paced
organisation, during a period of exciting change. 

THE BASICS:

If you’re an IT engineer with a love for computers and all things tech then this is the opportunity for you, one of our clients has the opportunity for an IT engineer to get hands-on with all things security.

If you have a couple of years’ experience in an IT support position, ideally within an MSP and have the aspirations of developing a further career into  IT & Cyber Security , please apply below.

THE PRE-REQUISITES:

Engineers with the ability to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve IT/Security related issues will be of high interest, so to will those who have a good understanding of IT and networking fundamentals, for example; operating systems, directory services, TCP/IP, DNS and .

If you have experience working with Windows and/or Linux operating systems you’ll be of interest to our client, so too will engineers with experience in operating and administering various IT and Security tools and service, for example;  firewalls, SIEM Tools, Vulnerable Scanners etc.

THE TECHNICAL:

Experience of  Windows 10 ,  Office 365and  Active Directory , with knowledge of  PC and printer hardware,  will hold you in good stead, along with a strong interest in IT security.

Although desirable, if you have any experience with  Public / Private Cloud Services such as  Azure, AWS, O365  etc this will likely result in an immediate interview request.

THE ENGINEER:

If you’re a motivated engineer ready to expand your current skill set and knowledge with strong attention to detail tendencies and a highly analytical approach to problem solve, you’ll be of high interest to our client, so too will engineers who are enthusiastic to learn new methods, engineers with strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills will also be of high interest to our client.

SECURITY SCREENING:

It is a requirement of our clients that all employees pass a security screening to Baseline Personal Security Standards.
