The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organisational skills, and a thorough understanding of civil engineering principles and practices. Key Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation. Lead and manage project teams, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration among all members. Engage with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met. Implement quality control measures to ensure all work meets the required standards and specifications. Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact. Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial efficiency. Ensure all project activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Maintain detailed records of project progress, including reports, schedules, and documentation. Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle. Promote and enforce health and safety protocols on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all. Qualifications Bachelors degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D). Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, legal regulations, and industry standards. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Key Competencies Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of project management. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to plan and execute project activities strategically to achieve project goals. Flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements and environments. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders. Primarily office-based with regular visits to construction sites, which may involve exposure to varying weather conditions and physical demands.
