Job Family: Shop Operations
As a release Inspector within the aerospace industry, you will be responsible for carrying out the final inspection of R&O equipment ensuring parts adhere to the specification laid out within the CMM, generating and signing the approved release certificates ensuring all customer, contract and regulatory requirements are observed. The role will also encourage using and implementing lean principles to help streamline the process where possible.
Final Inspection of assembled props, blades and control units to specification and Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM).
Supporting engineering/quality investigations and project work as and when required.
The candidate will need to have the ability and experience of working on mechanical and hydraulic components.
Minimum of HNC Mechanical engineering or time served apprentice or similar level of the knowledge and experience.
