We are expert private client lawyers with a national reputation. Our client base comprises individuals, companies, schools, charities, landowners, farmers and estates and these clients are both local and national. We are looking for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with 2-4 years of post-qualifying experience to join our highly effective team working on an extremely varied and interesting workload which includes disputes relating to commercial, contractual, shareholder/director/partnership, restraint of trade, reputation management, data protection and privacy, insolvency and debt, professional negligence and education matters.
We are a Chambers ranked litigation team handling a wide range of commercial and other disputes, comprising 8 Solicitors, 1 Trainee Solicitor and 4 support team members.
Provide high quality legal advice to clients
· Demonstrate a commercial approach in the handling of client matters Taking client instructions
· Providing legal and practical advice
· Attend legal and skills training programmes to continuously improve your skills and knowledge
o A firm grasp of contract law
o Proficiency in standard IT applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
· Experience in the following areas would be considered a bonus
o Data protection and privacy
Ability to take responsibility immediately
· Strong academics
· Positive, conscientious and flexible approach to work
