Vacancy Name Senior Product Manager - Senior VP Vacancy No VN530 Location City Derry/Londonderry, Letterkenny, Porto, London or Belfast Overview of Role The purpose of the Senior Product Manager role is to ensure that the products that FinTrU develops for its clients are planned, designed, and delivered to an exceptional standard, exceeding our clients’ expectations.
Reporting to the Head of Product, the Senior Product Manager will lead a team of Product Managers, Product Owners, and Market Research Analysts to develop the vision and roadmap across a range of regulatory technology solutions at varying stages of ideation and development.
The Senior Product Manager will influence and input to our wider product strategy and ensure that the direction of each of our products deliver against our short and long-term goals. They will understand the importance of brand and successful positioning of products in the market, understanding our competitors and articulating our competitive advantages.
FinTrUNI Job Details The Senior Product Manager will have a sound commercial mind, able to weigh up and prioritise product development decisions against the potential for a positive return on investment.
As a senior member of the Product Management team, the Senior Product Manager will work with multi-disciplinary teams of designers, developers and user groups to identify, prioritise and deliver new and enhanced features and user experiences. They will bring depth of knowledge and understanding, either directly or via their team, on subject areas such as KYC/AML, Credit Risk and Legal re-papering, building relationships with deep subject matter experts across the wider business to augment their own experience.
Create, maintain, and continuously evolve a Product Operations function within FinTrU that is capable of data-driven decision making, delivering effective solutions to client problems and challenges.
Day to day responsibility for bringing the product strategy to life, directing product decisions across multiple roadmaps, ensuring a clear, accessible, and unambiguous statement of product-market fit and feature development plan
Manage a team of Product Owners to ensure that use cases are well articulated for both Design, Engineering and Quality Assurance teams and that a realistic but stretching flow of feature development is maintained across all our products
Influence the continued evolution of the Product Strategy and associated Roadmap planning by staying well connected to our client use cases and problem statements
Demonstrate new features and developments to clients and internal stakeholders
Support sales and business development colleagues with product demonstrations to prospective clients
Coordinate and undertake market research to evaluate competitor offerings for threat/opportunity analysis and further inform the product roadmap
Develop and own a KPI framework to evaluate the performance of our products over time against both commercial and technical performance measures

To be successful in the Senior Product Manager role you will be:
Excited by Product development using Machine Learning technologies in the Financial Services industry
Knowledgeable about Financial Services products and services, especially key processes such as KYC/AML, Credit Risk and Legal repapering in Investment Banking, Wealth Management, Commercial Banking and Retail Banking verticals
A creative problem solver able to think on your feet, comfortable with uncertainty and able to lead others to successful outcomes
Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders both internally and in client organisations
Comfortable writing detailed business proposals as well as creating and delivering presentation material
Data-driven in your decision making and able to build a narrative to bring others along with you
Be flexible to travel to our key office locations in the UK and Portugal when required, as well to client sites in UK, Europe and North America

Agile, LEAN or Business Analysis qualifications preferable but not required
Relevant financial services certification / qualification desired

Knowledge of Financial Services markets and businesses, particularly Investment Banking, Wealth Management and Retail Banking
Strong commercial awareness
A good understanding of modern technology trends such as Cloud, Data Science, AI/Machine Learning, NLP, RPA, and OCR
