My Client are currently seeking two permanent Multi-Skilled Engineers to join our dedicated team at our Kidderminster facility. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll utilise your expertise in both mechanical and electrical engineering to ensure the optimal performance of our plant and equipment. From fault-finding to planned preventative maintenance, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting production requirements and factory services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Adherence to all statutory Safety, Health, and Environment regulations.
  • Accurate documentation of maintenance activities and downtime utilising our CMMS.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks according to schedules.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults on manufacturing equipment.
  • Identify root causes of faults and implement permanent corrective actions.
  • Provide timely responses to plant breakdowns while maintaining company standards.
  • Mentor and train new apprentices in maintenance disciplines.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • Recognized electrical and mechanical qualifications.
  • Mechatronics apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Proven track record in maintenance engineering with strong electrical and mechanical competencies.
  • Expertise in fault diagnosis, planned maintenance, and corrective actions.
  • Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS.
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of health and safety processes.
  • Understanding of Quality Operating Systems and environmental practices.
  • Certification in 18th Edition BS7671 and 2391/52 inspection and testing.
  • PLC programming and fault-finding experience.
