We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teaching Assistant to join our team on a 1-year contract basis from September. This contract is 5 days a week term time only. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing personalised support and assistance to our students with special educational needs where you will be supporting children on a 1-1 or 2-1 basis. Assist the classroom teacher in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
Assist in the implementation of behavioural interventions and strategies to support positive behaviour management.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to support student development and progress.
Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs preferred.
Willingness to undergo relevant training and professional development as required.
