Responsibilities:

As the Head Veterinary Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of our practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

Clinical Leadership: Oversee and coordinate the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality veterinary care in accordance with best practices.

Patient Care: Supervise and actively participate in the care and treatment of animals, ensuring their well-being and comfort.

Client Interaction: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, providing information, guidance, and support as needed.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with all colleagues to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Training and Development: Provide mentorship and support to junior veterinary nursing staff, facilitating their professional growth.

Facility Management: Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring a clean and organized environment.

Requirements:

RCVS Registered- Qualified Veterinary Nurse

Previous experience in a veterinary nursing role, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with both clients and team members.

Passion for providing exceptional care to animals.

Willingness to contribute to a positive and collaborative work culture.
