Are you a Polyglot or Golang Engineer with a passion for microservices and event driven design? Want to work on exciting projects at the heart of a start-up? 100-110k base salary, office meetings in London once a month with the rest of time working remotely, bonus, pension, healthcare plus much more on offer.
As a growing business (30+ hires in the next 3-6 months), we're searching for opportunities to perfect our processes and implement methodologies that help our teams to thrive locally and globally. The Principal Engineering role plays a critical part in connecting customers with the platform. As part of this varied role, we're also counting on you to: • Build new features in our core language Golang • Make key architectural decisions and help move the platform forward • Support product and delivery teams • Mentor and coach other team members.
A Principal Engineer who is well versed across software engineering as a whole
A critical thinker who has seen plentiful business solution complexities around software and therefore an advocate of writing safe code.
A background of writing business critical/complex solution in C++/Java or C# preferred albeit more recently you will have focused on polyglot languages.
Have Golang experience and/or are interested/excited to use it.
Sitting across engineering, as Principal Engineer you will oversee 1) defining overall approach 2) design standards 3) training/coaching engineers 4) Process implementation and 4) assisting hands on when required with technical problems that require additional eyes etc
