PD&MS Group have a great opportunity for a Control & Instrumentation Department Head to join our progressive C&I Engineering team team based in Aberdeen or Glasgow on a full time, employee basis.
Responsible for team training and development
Support technical and commercial bids and other business development activities.
Knowledge of, and compliance with, client, industry and international specifications and standards
.

Delivery of department project design deliverables
Review and monitoring
shortfalls such as training, coaching
, of company procedures and policies
the business drivers and values
Review personnel performance, competency and work ethic and action accordingly
of timesheets, holiday requests and working time
Responsible for ensuring professional development is
Compliance with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policies
in particular, risk
Ensure direct report performance reviews are carried out within the required timescales
Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant Oil & Gas Industry Codes and Standards
Competent in the use of MS Office applications
Excellent written and spoken English
Oil and Gas Control and Instrumentation Engineering experience.
Demonstrable Experience and Knowledge in Field Instrument selection and application particularly;
Experience in writing/checking/approving system SoW for 3rd party systems vendors listed above.
Fault Tree Analysis
Risk Assessments
Experience in support to construction and commissioning activities.
