Hospital Team Social Worker or Senior Social Worker

Lincolnshire County Council is looking to appoint 4 Social Workers (1 x Level 1 and 3 x Level 2) to our Adult Social Care Hospital Team covering: Pilgrim Hospital Boston.
You will work as part of the 7-day Adult Care rota. This equates to approximately 1 in 3 weekends worked, and these are all scheduled 3 months in advance.
Being a hospital social worker not only do you work with other adult social care colleagues, but you are also part of team with our NHS and third sector colleagues. nursing staff and customers from the wards you work on. This is an exciting time as adult social care contribute to the design and implementation of the integrated discharge hub and you will have the opportunity of that design and development. These posts have become available due to career progression.
We are PROUD of our Teams that have worked tirelessly alongside health colleagues before Covid, during Covid surges and today to ensure safe and timely discharges from hospital.
We are PROUD of the skills, knowledge, commitment, humour, morale and motivation of our excellent teams that advocate, support, promote independence and improve the quality of life of Lincolnshire residents, no matter which hospital they are being discharged from.

It goes without saying that you must hold a professional Social Work qualification e.g. DIPSW, CQSW, CETSW, CSS or BA Social Work and ensure that registration with Social Work England is maintained and renewed appropriately.
Our newly qualified Social Workers will be supported through their ASYE .
We are PROUD that our Social Workers receive excellent supervision, access to learning and development opportunities and protected time to support continuous professional development. We are PROUD to able to progress our Social Workers through Management Qualifications , Practice Educator Awards and training to become Approved Mental Health Professionals .
