Project Management Vice President

As a System Integration & User Support - Vice President in the Indirect Tax Operations team, you will play a key role in managing the implementation of E-Invoicing through vendor system integration, performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and providing end user technical support to business areas affected by regulatory change. In this role you will be working within a diverse, global team focused on supporting the bank’s expansion of E-Invoicing and E-Reporting regulatory compliance on an international scale.
Collaborate with Corporate Tax Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and an external vendor to define and refine technical specifications.
Lead a small team of SMEs integrating an external vendor system firmwide, including developing and maintaining Technical Specification Documentation (TSD), system configuration, and UAT execution.
Lead the communication of TSD guidance to business lines in partnership with Corporate Tax SMEs.
Conduct for user training and provide system demonstrations of the vendor platform.
Guide Line of Business (LoB) Technology teams on system requirements, ensure compliance with TSD requirements during system builds, and oversee successful execution of UAT.
Provide operational oversight and post-live support, including help desk functions for LoB users.
Provide support and training to the team, assisting in the development of technical knowledge, project planning, and preparation of project working group materials.
Maintain project and UAT documentation and prepare updates and/or reports for senior management and stakeholders, as required.
Identify and mitigate potential risks, monitor risks, and escalate issues as needed.
Project Management: demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and oversee large scale projects, particularly system integration and user support projects.
Technical Documentation: experience in creating, updating, and maintaining TSDs with strong technical writing skills to communicate complex concepts clearly.
Systems Integration: experience working with API’s, databases or systems configuration.
Testing and UAT: hands-on experience in UAT with an ability to develop test cases, track issues an ensure compliance with technical specifications.
Communication: strong presentation skills to present to senior leaders and conduct demos or training for end users.
Analytical Skills: ability to analyze technical and operational challenges, interpret data trends, and develop solutions to enhance system performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
Controls Mindset: a focus on identifying risks, implementing preventative measures, and ensuring adherence to compliance standards
Technical Proficiency: proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in using business intelligence tools for data analysis and reporting.
Solid experience in project management or as a technical product owner, ideally within a financial services or consulting environment.
Familiarity with billing systems and their functionality in relation to tax compliance.
Experience working with indirect taxes, such as VAT, and familiarity with international E-Invoicing regulations and compliance requirements.
