Our client are a global market leader in plastics manufacturing, they have multiple UK sites and supply into well known brands for their plastic packaging. They are seeking an electrically biased maintenance engineer to join their Tamworth site on a double day shift.
Key Responsibilities – Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Attend breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve at the press with minimal downtime to aid production.
Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations.
Preventative and Reactive maintenance
Ensure risk assessments are available, read and understood for each activity undertaken.
Undertake continuous training and development.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
Qualifications & Experience – Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

~ Day to day roles and responsibilities will include planned and reactive maintenance on injection moulding machines, IML robots, pick and place robots, as well as daily maintenance on conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, relays, inverters.
~ Ideally 3/5Yrs previous experience repairing and maintaining injection moulding machinery.
~ Apprentice trained up to NVQ L3, HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics or similar.
~17th/18th Edition Electrical Regulations
~ MEWP and forklift licenses desirable but training can be provided.
~ Apply your Technical skill set and knowledge to enhance less machine down time.
~ You can work effectively in a very fast paced production site.
