We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Operations Analyst to join our Commercial Operations team here in London. You’ll play a key role in optimising our sales processes and providing valuable insights to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our commercial function.

The responsible person will work alongside the UK CEO and the UK Commercial Head monitoring the effectiveness of our commercial efforts to ensure that they are aligned with the overall business objectives. The successful candidate will also work on a new project supporting the business in streamlining the global sales process.

This role is designed for a skilled individual with a deep understanding of data.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain regular reports on various metrics for UK stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimisation within the business using data
  • Develop key performance metrics and dashboards that help the sales organisation focus on performance drivers
  • Work with the local Commercial Heads & Sales Managers to streamline the sales processes and strategies reporting on the effectiveness of these changes
  • Oversee the daily sales operation function, ensuring that sales teams across the regions are aligned with the company's strategic objectives
  • Ownership of sales analytics: sales tracking, sales effectiveness, and reporting of the sales performance globally
  • Oversee the automated daily lead assignments to ensure sales staff have the correct allocation of leads and report where there are shortfalls or inefficiencies
  • Work as key stakeholder on any sales/lead assignment projects
  • Review, suggest and amend our KPI & commission structures in line with business goals
  • Oversee the calculation of quarterly commission/bonus calculations for the sales teams
  • Review & implement new technologies as needed to support the sales teams where necessary
Requirements:
  • Min 2 years experience in Data Analytics within a Sales Operations or Finance team, or in Management Consulting with significant experience in data analytics
  • Experience analysing business performance
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with experience solving ambiguous problems using large complex datasets and providing practical business insights 
  • Ideal: SQL, Tableau, CRM and advanced Excel
  • Understanding of sales cycle and business metrics (conversion, MRR, churn), with experience in tracking and reporting them
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau 
  • A proactive “can-do” attitude, with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment 
  • Team working – ability to contribute to the team and to improve effectiveness through personal commitment 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to relay technical content and key insights to general audiences
  • Financial services or FinTech experience is a plus
