Role Description

We're in search of a capable Financial Analyst. Your role will involve examining and tracking financial data, encompassing revenue, expenses, and spending. Working closely with functional and operational teams, you'll develop an intricate understanding of variances to forecasts, pinpointing both risks and opportunities to enhance performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

Analyse patterns within the finance realm, including sales, expenses, and profit margins.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify reasons for variances, reporting significant discoveries.
Enhance and refine budgeting, financial projections, and operational forecasts to guide decision-making.
Evaluate past performance and anticipate future challenges to predict financial outcomes, pinpointing potential areas of concern to minimize losses.
Produce regular and ad-hoc financial and business performance reports and analyses.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to scrutinize data and propose strategies for improvement.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Prior experience in a similar capacity, showcasing strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Possession of or progress towards accountancy qualifications (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
Exceptional analytical prowess and meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in generating clear and concise reports, with a knack for presenting information effectively.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a cohesive team.
