The Role

You will be responsible for but not limited to, Installing, removing, servicing, maintaining, and providing technical support for the businesses Rapid Deployment CCTV systems and fixed systems. Reporting to the Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will need a strong understanding of CCTV and wireless systems, including detection methods and analytics. The successful candidate will need to be an excellent communicator at all levels and are available to deliver on-time services to our clients.We're looking for someone hardworking, self-motivated, who is happy to travel.

Role Responsibilities:

  • System Knowledge of market leading hardware
  • Installation / removal / maintain &repair, various CCTVsystems.
  • Provide a full range of servicing and fault-finding diagnostics of Wireless and Wired CCTV systems to determine appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to provide a consistent approach whilst utilising your initiative, with minimal supervision, maintaining our core value of a customer-first approach.
  • Continuously seek to add value to the services provided and achieve first-time fixes.
  • Document processes and follow company standard procedures and protocols.
  • ECS (FESS) Operatives Card preferable
  • Ensure the company meets its obligations and adheres to guidelines and regulations laid down by the professional bodies they subscribe to
  • Working and interacting with various alarm receiving platforms
  • Completion of site surveys.
  • Consult with clients and Account Management to assess risks and to determine security requirements.
  • Encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among other team members.
  • To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner and comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required

The successful candidate should have the ability to exercise their role in the pursuit of achievement of the group strategy as a whole.

Person and Skills Required:

  • Understanding of security systems is advantageous including but not limited to: CCTV, Access Control, Alarm / Intruder, Gates and Barriers, Monitoring, Lone worker.

Full driving Licence.

Substantial quantifiable and demonstrable experience in a similar role.

Electrical or electronics qualification, City and Guilds or BTE FIA Qualifications.

Customer focused.

Strong communicator both verbal and written.

Strong sense of urgency and desire to succeed.
