Contract Test Engineer - Python

£350- £450 per day

Outside IR35

6 months

Hybrid / Swindon

Our client, a much-admired advanced engineering business, is seeking a Python Contract Test Engineer for a 6-month contract to write test scripts for applications involving both software and hardware.

Responsibilities:

Write Python-based scripts for test procedures of software and hardware applications.

Support a team of test engineers in running automated system testing and acceptance testing.

Devise acceptance test algorithms.

Write scripts to generate test reports, including RAG test status.

Experience

Experience in Python programming.

Experience in any of the following industries desirable: Engineering, Med Tech, Advanced Engineer, Automotive, Aerospace, Defence

Experience in developing test scripts for automated system testing.

Experience integrating complex toolchains.

Hybrid working around Swindon. (1/2 times a week onsite dependant on projects)
